Text messages

The short version
Productions can send call sheets and reminders by text. A text only goes to a number a production added on purpose, it says who it is from, and STOP ends them. Nothing else is ever sent.
What crew receive
SnappSheet is scheduling software for film and photo productions. A production builds a call sheet, the document that tells each crew member where to be and when, and can send it to the people on it by email, by text, or both. A text carries the production name, the date, the person’s call time, and a link to the sheet. A reminder text can go out before the shoot day.
That is the whole program. No marketing, no promotions, nothing from anyone but the production that booked the person. Message frequency depends on how many sheets a person is on. A typical crew member on one shoot gets one or two texts.
How consent is collected
Crew give their mobile number to the production that hired them, when they are booked. The production coordinator then adds the person to a call sheet in SnappSheet. The phone field in that form carries this notice, and by saving a number the coordinator confirms it is true:

Only add a mobile this person agreed to receive call sheet texts on. They can reply STOP at any time.
Nobody is texted who a coordinator did not put on a sheet. The first text names SnappSheet and the production and says how to opt out. Our terms of service make the coordinator responsible for having that consent, and a production that texts people who did not agree loses the ability to send.
Stop, help, and rates
Reply STOP to any SnappSheet text and no production can text you through SnappSheet again until you reply START. Reply HELP for help, or write to support@snappsheet.com. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your number is seen only by the production that entered it and by the carrier that delivers the message. The full policy is in our privacy policy, and the texting terms are in our terms of service.
Login codes
Separately, an account holder can attach their own mobile number to their SnappSheet account and log in with a six-digit code we text them instead of a password. Those codes only ever go to the number the account holder confirmed themselves, and they are never sent to crew.
